You have chosen your first reformer class. A little preparation can make arrival feel much more comfortable, leaving you time to meet your instructor and get to know the equipment.
Your class bag
- Grip socks. These are required for reformer Pilates at Radiant. If you need to buy a pair at the studio, arrive with extra time. You can also explore our grip socks online.
- Water. Bring a bottle so you can drink when you need to.
- Comfortable exercise clothing. Choose something you can move, stretch and sit comfortably in.
Check your reservation
Buying an intro pack or membership and reserving a class are separate steps. Check that your chosen session appears in your Momence bookings and look for the confirmation details. Use the same email address you purchased with when signing into the app.

Know which studio you are visiting
Radiant Taunton is at Coates English Willow in Stoke St Gregory. Radiant Exeter is at Woodbury Business Park, with reformer in Unit 11A and mat in Unit 5. Radiant Surrey is at The Old Coal Yard in Hambledon, near Godalming. Check the full addresses and parking guidance before travelling.
Give yourself a little time
Aim to arrive 5–10 minutes before class and tell the instructor it is your first visit. You do not need to know the exercise names. Listen to the equipment guidance, ask if a setup is unclear and take time to learn how the carriage and springs feel.
Anything the studio should know?
If you are pregnant, returning after birth, managing an injury or unsure about suitability, contact your local team before booking. This gives the team time to explain the studio requirements and discuss the right next step.
If plans change, manage your booking in Momence and check the cancellation and waiting-list information. Arrive knowing your place is reserved, your socks are packed and your instructor is ready to welcome you.
