What is Mat Method HOT?

This is mat Pilates in a studio heated to approximately 30°C. You will work on a mat rather than a reformer, following your instructor through controlled movement and full-body sequences. The warmer setting is part of the experience; the focus remains on how you move, rather than how much you sweat.

Your first heated Pilates class

We recommend trying Mat Method Sculpt or Strong before joining HOT, so you can become familiar with the movement and teaching. Let your instructor know if you are new and ask about the options offered during class. You can take a break whenever you need one.

Bring water, wear comfortable exercise clothing and arrive a little early to settle in. Read our first-visit FAQs before booking. If you are unsure whether heated exercise is suitable for you, contact the studio before choosing a session.

Find the Woodbury mat studio

Mat Pilates takes place in Unit 5, Woodbury Business Park, Exeter, EX5 1AY. Our reformer studio and Reset suite are in Unit 11A, across the courtyard. Free parking is available opposite the business park. Check our studio directions and parking information before travelling.
